Vehicle Description 1948 Lincoln Continental Convertible The 1948 Lincoln Continental was one of 43,939 cars produced for the year, but this number is skewed due to the early start of the of production for the 1949 year.
The Convertible was the most expensive model offered with a price of $4,746.

738 were produced and Ford Executives saw the end nearing for this model with the high production cost! The convertible weighed in at 4,135 pounds and the most distinctive change from the previous year were the hubcaps.
Power was provided by a mammoth V12 engine that could produce 152 base horsepower.
This Lincoln is a project in the works, originally owned by the current owner's grandfather and then the current owner's dad started te disassembly, the motor completely rebuilt (will be sold separately but can be added to the vehicle), the metal work has been completed but unfortunately the project stalled at this point.
A fully restored Lincoln Continental Convertible for 1948 values run between $31k and $40k for recently sold vehicles during 2023.
