The AR Representative is responsible for following up on all assigned outstanding receivables to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Responsibilities: Resolve outstanding accounts by taking the appropriate action necessary. Prepare and submit appeals to third party insurance carriers in a timely manner. Reference all available resources for accurate billing and reimbursement. Follow up with insurance carriers regarding outstanding claims and provide carriers with updated information. Notify supervisor of any insurance updates that may impact clients and/or hinder the timely processing of claims. Work as a team player to achieve optimal efficiency. Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent - Healthcare insurance claim resolution: 1-2 years - Excel knowledge and experience Must enjoy working in a team environment! The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
