Manager of Planning and Analytics

Scope: The Manager of Planning and Analytics will develop and oversee daily execution of the Master Production Schedule with the support of the Production Planning team while performing data analysis to ensure the Master Production Schedule is optimized to meet customer requirements and supports internal performance goals. The Manager of Planning and Analytics will own the master data accuracy in the ERP system and procedures for the scheduling and planning functions (lead times, planning factors, order policy codes, lots sizes etc.). The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills (via Excel and/or other tools) and prior experience developing and implementing a hybrid-scheduling tool utilizing Excel and the ERP system. This individual will initiate and spearhead Continuous Improvement projects while leading the production planning team to the successful accomplishment of company goals and individual career development.    Duties and Responsibilities: Develop master production schedule as a combination of existing XA ERP system and advanced Excel sheets and/or other software Maintain the master production schedule from customer orders, forecast, plant capacity, historical data, and other department inputs Create and maintain MS Queries and reports used to schedule and manage production schedules in ERP Assure the execution of the master production schedule through the planning function Provide high level expertise of the ERP system and champion/ master data integrity within the scheduling/planning function Directly supervise a team of Production Planners and a Master Scheduler Create and maintain metrics to track department performance along with WIP, Inventory and Revenue forecast Provide department leadership with a focus on efficient advanced planning and staff development Identify areas for improvement and lead Continuous Improvement projects  Essential Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional data acquisition and analysis skills; experience developing Excel tools with MS query or MS Access Significant experience creating MS Queries and automated reports pulling and analyzing data from ERP tables. Significant experience in scheduling and planning in a MRP environment - high and low volume, high mix environment; includes a comprehensive understanding of ERP systems, master data, and related functions Solid understanding of inventory control systems preferably with APICS certification Strong analytical skills with proven ability to improve factory execution based on data analysis Exceptional interpersonal skills - ability to work with a broad range of functions and levels Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented Ability to lead improvement initiatives and mentor others in the effective application of quantitative/structured problem solving techniques and methods Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate continuous improvement projects that utilize methods and techniques such as SPC, 5S, Standardized Work, Fishbone Diagrams, Kanban, JIT, and Kaizen. Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred Experience: Education: Bachelor of Science Degree - Supply Chain, Business or Engineering    Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience is required  APICS and Six Sigma Certification is preferred 4150

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
