Service Counter Representative

One of New England's largest dealers of outdoor power equipment has an immediate opening for a Service Counter Representative. We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, hard-working individual to help in our fast paced growing company.
Service Counter Rep is responsible for (but is not limited to):
Working directly with the customers and service department ensuring repairs are done correctly and in a timely manner.
Relaying repair estimates to the customers.
Tracking repairs and scheduling repairs with technicians.
Desired experience for this position; however full training will be given to the right candidate:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with customers in the service writer position or similar either in the automotive or outdoor power equipment industries.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
May require lifting up to 70 pounds
Experience driving fork lift a plus- will need to become fork lift certified
Knowledge/experience with outdoor power equipment or automotive a plus
Proficient computer skills, training will be provided for use on our business system softwareEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
