_Job Description:_
The Technical Operations Technicians possess a proficient understanding of the computer operations environment (i.e., Stratus and UNIX operating systems, application systems, terminology, infrastructures, languages, libraries, tools, processes, and procedures). They work under general supervision and follow standard procedures in performing most tasks. Monitor, track, and execute batch processing. In addition, they may analyze and manipulate schedules (i.e., work orders).Provide first-level problem diagnosis and resolution using troubleshooting procedures to resolve moderately complex problems; they recognize a wide variety of problem conditions and may recognize the customer-base impact and severity of those conditions. Ensures production platform operation and resolves escalated technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve processing failures on the front end Stratus systems.
Work with development staff to resolve issues that could not be handled under the Production Services umbrella.
Work with management to train second and third shift staff members on the internal workings of second and third shift.
Stand in for the second or third shift supervisor when he or she is not available.
Provide remote support during the weekend.
Monitor and manage critical path processing for all systems in a multi-system environment.
They provide timely escalation of complex problems to a technical support resource and/or to the appropriate level of senior staff.
Identify the need for, document, and update department procedures with approval from the supervisor or manager.
Assist with rollout support during an implementation.

_Basic Qualifications:_
Minimum of 2+ years customer service experience
Minimum of 2+ years experience using operator commands for DOS, Linux/Unix or VOS
Minimum of 2+ years computer operations experience
Minimum of 2+ years experience in troubleshooting and resolving process failures on the
Minimum of 1+ years experience: Linux/Unix, Stratus VOS, TCP/IP and Windows O/S

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
