Detailer.
Job Description Summary
Structural and Misc Detailing positions available for New England's leading steel
detailing firm
Create 3D models from contract drawings and/or from specifications.
Prepare & modify existing models and drawings.
Produce accurate shop drawings for fabrication.
Prepare assembly drawings as needed.
Work with checking department to learn requirements.
Update/maintain digital database.
Requirements/Skills
Must be highly detail oriented with good verbal and communication skills
Proficient in all Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Outlook
Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications
Min 6 months structural or Misc software experience with Tekla or SDS/2.
Preferences
Self-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish a project on time
Must be able to handle several projects at once with minimum help or guidelines
from department
Experience / Interest in construction and/or structural design
