Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager at our Salem, NH location.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning, organization, and management of activities for the successful completion of specific IT project goals and objectives in a matrixed resource environment to help ensure commitments on quality, scope, time, and budget are met or exceeded. Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including traditional waterfall and agile methodologies including Scrum. Provide leadership over all aspects of the IT project from planning through deployment and production. Oversee and partner with functional groups including development, product management, service, implementation, infrastructure, and IT support. Create and maintain project plans and schedules including deliverables across all impacted areas of assigned projects. Work with the project team and stakeholders (based on the risk) to define mitigation plans and ensure plans are tracked and status of the risks are reviewed on a regular basis. Oversee the project process, project deliverables and communication frameworks including administration of project collaboration tools and document repositories. Direct the efforts of one or more project managers on execution of program initiatives directly or indirectly in a matrixed environment. Participate in business reviews of the portfolio, present IT plans for the portfolio and maintain budget for the IT portion of the portfolio.
Experience, Skills, Academic:
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Electronics or related field of study and eight (8) years of experience required. Employer will also accept a master's degree and five (5) years of experience. Employer will accept a three-year degree or a combination of degrees or diplomas as meeting the Bachelor's requirement. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. 20% travel required.

Experience must include:
project management skills aligned with industry standards PMP or equivalent; planning, directing, and managing technology projects; project management involving schedule, scope, cost and resource management; providing oversight and leadership during project execution; providing overall status to higher management on the application portfolio; managing overall product Life cycle; analyzing, designing, developing and implementing software products and applications; managing onsite and offshore teams; MS Project; .Net or J2EE; Java, C+
or PHP; and Windows, Unix or Linux. 20% travel required.
