Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary team who, under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, delivers prescribed treatment to pediatric, adult and geriatric clients and performance testing in accordance with established policies and procedures in a responsible, safe and professional manner. The Respiratory Therapist's role is to assist nursing staff in providing selected patient care and unit activities. The Respiratory Therapist must be supportive of the rehabilitation process. Their interactions with the patient and family/significant other shall be such as to demonstrate respect for them as individuals and sensitivity to their circumstances.
To qualify you must
1. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
2. Certification and/or registration from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
3. Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
4. Two years of experience in the Respiratory Care field. One year acute care experience preferred.
5. Licensed by the NH Board of Medicine

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
