Job Description
BROAD FUNCTION: The Equipment Operator II is a position that requires the ability to provide cross functional support in the areas of manufacturing including, but not limited to, Printing, Laser Trim, Plating and Dicing. Requires the ability to set-up and operate multiple pieces of manual and automated equipment and perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Set up equipment for the job at a machine or PC, depending on the job.
Follow detailed instructions, refers problems or difficulties to supervisor
Ensure equipment is in order and clean and free of parts from previous jobs.
Complete paperwork upon completion of job.
Monitor machine output to ensure it is running at capacity.
Maintain clean, safe and orderly work environment.
Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written work orders.
Capable of training others on equipment operation
Maintain tools and other equipment in good condition.
Report problems, defective materials, questionable conditions or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Represent Anaren in a professional manner; striving for customer satisfaction.
Program computer with specific job information to punch orders utilizing in house software package.
Maintain logs to ensure accurate handling of orders.
May be required to adjust arms on post etch punch machine to accommodate panel sizes.
Work to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Must possess basic skills to setup, load and unload material from manual and automated equipment with little supervision.
Must possess basic computer skills, data entry skills and the ability to operate and load simple computer programs to run the equipment.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be detailed and closely focused on job orders.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Ability to read and perform simple calculations.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong comprehension of processes to allow for ability to anticipate and plan for next step in process.
Required Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
1 3 years of related experience.
Must be eligible to work on defense and other programs subject to ITAR regulations
