We are seeking a _RIT Benefits Specialist_ to join our team!
Responsible for the successful implementation of the ADP TotalSource health and welfare solution through the effective execution of the methodology using solid functional, technical and/or project management knowledge and skills and effectively working with the Implementation Specialists. Ensures all enrollments are processed correctly and verified with the carrier. Ensures compliance with Section 125, FSA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA as well as other applicable state and federal benefit laws. May assist the Implementation Specialists with on-site new hire and benefit orientations.Essential
Responsibilities:Provides implementation services as defined in TotalSource Implementation Methodology (TSIM), using standardized processes, tools, and deliverables to implement PEO solutions. Uses TotalSource tools and standards to consistently produce error free results in a timely all new hire enrollments, life status changes & court orders as it relates to customer services to phone inquiries from clients, employees & carrier contacts Not limited to answering benefit questions, resolving problems related to access or payment of benefits, orient newly eligible online medical, prescription & dental data entry with applicable carriers.Facilitates on-site employee orientations, including the ancillary new hire agreements/forms and all selected benefit products when necessary. Responsible for auditing benefit enrollment elections (paper) or running the appropriate web audit reports for web enrollment participants to ensure a substantially error-free delivery of service and input. Process client and employee adjustments as necessary and provides assistance with adjudication of monthly bills as needed. Maintains supply of benefit materials. Participates in the annual Open Enrollment ProcessUtilizes Clarify to document and communicate client and/or employee requests, challenges, issues and support to client contacts regarding benefits issues during the implementation process.Maintains a comprehensive understanding of TotalSource products and services.

## Experience, Skills, Academic
Bachelor's degree required.
Previous experience with human resources, benefits administration or payroll preferred.
Excellent problem resolution skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
Proficient in typing.
Communication training or equivalent helpful.
Preparation for professional certification helpful (PHR, CPP, etc.).
Possesses a strong knowledge of industry equivalent products, services, and tools.
A combination of one to two years of experience in a relevant industry, a HRIS practitioner and/or with system implementations.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
