Immediate openings available for Mechanical Assemblers - first shift
This position requires someone who is very mechanically inclined, and works well with their hands (Hand tools, power tools etc.)
Responsibilities Include:
-Construct various product assemblies, be it mechanical or electrical,
under supervision according to instructions or blueprints, using a
variety of tools common to the trade.
- Assemble parts according to instructions or directions, including bench or floor filing, fitting, aligning and adjusting.
- Do point-to-point wiring and assembly including wire preparation, crimping, panel layout and component mounting.
- Duties involve hand work and ability to diagnose improper mechanical
assembly or operation and take the necessary steps to correct the
problem. Any situations not easily resolved or identified should be
referred to the supervisor.
- Assist other assemblers to construct various assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Maintain ISO-9001 standards.
- Observe all safety rules.
-Mechanical Assembly experience on large sub assemblies is preferred
-Experience reading blueprints is preferred
-Must be able to lift up to 40 LBS
- Must be able to pass Drug Screening and Background Test
Hours: 6am-4:30pm, Monday- Thursday
